The third class was a lesson from Yana Smakula in cutting colored cardstock to make multiple backgrounds. Yana was correct in that this was a time-consuming project so I thought "I'd simplify it by using only the Altenew Gradient Card Stock sets, which are roughly half the width of an A2 card. Was I ever wrong! That, and my choice of stamp really made the piecing of these backgrounds tedious! I and ended up compromising by using my backgrounds as stripes on my card instead of full panels...
I used the Simon Says Stamp background stamp "Road & Round" and Stampers Anonymous "Tiny Text" on my cards.
The first card I made I used the darker shades of the papers and I showed the backside of them (oops, an ink smudge!) after pasting them together:
