Ranger Designer Kits
Ranger has issued kits to teach techniques by some of it's premiere designers.
The first one I played with was the kit by Dina Wakely called "Mixed Media Techniques" and included three media boards, three bottles of acrylic paint, one bottle of white gesso, a stencil, a sprayer and a brush. Here are the three backgrounds that resulted when I played with the kit:
