I started with Stormy Sky Distress Glitter, Stormy Sky Distress Paint and three pre-cut chip board fleur de lys. Matching papers to this color wasn't difficult since I had several shades of grey blue in my Bazill stash. Fleur de lys could only mean one thing to me - Paris - so I searched my stash of stamps, stickers and embellishments for would work with a Parisian theme. There was an Eiffel tower stamp from Tim Holtz, a Bon Voyage stamp from Stampin Up!, and an "explore" stamp from The Rubber Cafe.
The "Bon Voyage" was stamped with India Ink. The Eifel Tower and the "Explore" were stamped with Versamark and embossed with fine silver embossing powder. The chip board pieces were painted and glittered and mildly distressed. A fabric stitcker ("Discover") , a red-white-and-blue ribbon and three Ideology acrylic stars competed the materials needed to make a Bon Voyage Card should I ever encounter someone who is traveling to Paris to enjoy the city by night (after all, Paris is "The City of Lights"!)!
