Having recently received the latest issue of Quick Cards Magazine, which comes every month with a freebie, I was well prepared for this one. The freebie this month was a packet of holiday-themed papers and a set of stamps!
I found some scrap card in my stash that was nearly the same shade of turquoise as the papers in the set and created a card base. On that, I layered cuts from two of the papers in the set. Next, I stamped three of teh stamsp (two snowflakes and a sentiment) in Versamark on more of that light turquoise paper, heat embossed with white embossing powder, and blended "Mermade Lagoon" Distress Inks over them to create some contrast between the white and the pale turquoise. I then fussy cut the images (I wish I had a circle punch just a tad larger than the ones I have... then the margins would have been a little more regular), attached them with scor-tape (the snowflakes) and foam squares (the sentiment) and added some silver sequins to carry the silver in the border paper up into the card:
