First, I wetted a piece of Ranger watercolor paper and applied Ken Oliver Liquid Metal pigments ("Copper" and "Verdigris") with a brush to create a card background:
It seemed only logical that with a verdigris background, a coupe Eiffel Tower should take center stage:
So did distressing some Parisian stamps with Verdigris and Antiqued Bronze inks.
I stamped a Tim Holtz "cityscapre" in Archival "Jet Black" on my background:
