Given that I am on the road right now and have a limited collection of supplies with me, a true one layer card is definitely what I should be aiming for. But I decided to try to stretch myself by a) using a stamp set new to me; b) using a Tombow blending pen, and (c) using Inktense pencils on a colored cardstcok. Truly a one layer card but with something new (to me):
- Stamps: Dina Wakely Media Stamps "Scribbly Birds on Branches" (MDR46080)
- Inks: Inketense Pencils: sea blue (1200), antique white (2300), sun yellow (0200), baked earth (180)0, tangerine (103), poppy red (0400), ink black (2200); Archival jet black
- Papers: DCWV card stack 5.5" x 8.5" "Earth" (CM-012-00005)
- Special Tools: Tombow N00 acid free blending pen; MISTI
I also want to enter this in the Creative Carte Blanche Challenge "Try Something Artistic Your've Never Done Before" in that I'm using materials never used before (the stamps and the Tombow pen), coloring with pencils on colored card stock, and using limited supplies while traveling --- all new to me!
