Challenge: Lindy's April Inspiration Palette

The Lindy's Gang April 2018 inspiration is an all-metallic palette:

I had all of the "suggested" colors in embossing powders but din't have the all sprays (or any that would substitute) so I waited for delivery before starting on this card.

I started with a card base, using Neena Solar White, a layering stencil and texture paste.

​While waiting for the texture paste to dry, I started coloring embellishments for the card. I sprayed some burlap flowers, a butlap-and-lace bow and a burlap coil with “Poinciana Red Flame”, “Incandescent Copper” and  “Medieval Gold”. I then added some "Holly Berry Red Gold" and "Ceasar's Gold" embossing powders to the flowers and coil and "Cleopatra's Copper"  embossing powder to the coil (unsprayed examples are on the left in each picture):

I selected a resin frame from my stash, coated it with Versamark and heat embossed with Lindy's "Midnight Copper" embossing powder to provide some dark contrast to the lighter colors:

Once the paste on the card front had dried, I sprinkled some "Bratwurst Brown" Magical over a moistened background and let the colors run through the paste. I then sprayed with Glitz Spritz “Medieval Gold” to add some shimmer and color.

I applied some Versamark around the edges in the remaining white areas and heat embossed with "Caeser’s Gold”:

Time for final assembly. I attached the card front to a pre-folded black card;  arranged the flowers, bow, coil and frame along with a tangle of Kreinik gold braid;  and added some Idea-ology stickers to complete the card:
