"Whether your house is grand or modest, neat or messy, there's no place like home. Houses get bought and sold, but home stays with you forever. For this challenge,... interpret what home means to you ..."
We have traveled extensively in the past 55 years, living in four states (California, Florida, Texas and Ohio) and three countries (England, China and Saudi Arabia) and all were home to us at the time!
Our present Ohio house is a French Colonial two-story in shades of sage green and cream with a grey roof and red brick trim. Now I don't have a stamp that portrays the French Colonial style, or any other style of home we have lived in --- for some reason, I collected lots of Victorian and Tudor house stamps, but none that look like our house.
But I don't think that matters because home is where the heart is, and our heart is our family, whether it be just the two of us (and our several pets), or ourselves and our close friends and/or our extended family.
So I colored a house in the colors of our current house,
- Stamps: Carabelle Studio Art Stamps “Dans ma maison” (SA60283)
- Inks: GinaK Amalgam; Dstress Markers “Pumice Stone”, “Bundled Sage”, “Fired Brick”, and “Peeled Paint”
- Papers: ParkLame Paperie A2 notecard “ivory” (15919590)
- Embellishments: Idea-ology “Chitchat” (TH92998); Altenew Enamel Dots “Red Cosmos” (ALT2591)
