I pulled out my 3-D texture fades and selected one to use on a cut of dampened Mixed Media Heavystock. I mounted this on a dark teal card stock mat and then used foam tape to mount it on a card base consisting of glimmer paper on a dark teal top-folding card. I added a die-cut wildflower stem in a lighter blue, edged with coordinating ink, and popped up a sentiment, heat embossed in white on a strip of the dark teal card.
Products used in the making of this card were:

It's been that kind of day. I spent nearly 30 minutes trying to locate a new card set I had recently used that went with the sentiment I found sleeping inside my MISTI! After searching all my card files and even the stack of recently arrived goodies only to discover that the rogue set was on my desk... NATURALLY! Then this card resisted having a photo taken with my little camera --- it was either bleached out by the sun or blinded by the flash. I finally had to resort to my iPad, which took the above photo with no issues whatsoever.... OF COURSE. My husband, when called upon to answer the question "why?", did a hot disconnect on my camera (a Mac no-no) and then took four perfect pictures! GRRR!
Time to quit while I'm ahead! So I'm also entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge for October 7, 2020: "Make it Sparkle"
