I have a new die! Well, actually, after this past weekend, I have several new dies (busted my budget at A Dyan Reaveley class!) but… only one of them works with this challenge! It is the Sizzix Thinlit set “Fall Foliage” (660955). Last Friday, I cut out multiples of most of the leaves in the set from white card. Then today, using Distress Sprays and water on my craft sheet, I died each leaf in autumn colors:
I then briefly sketched in some veins on some of the larger leaves with the “Fossilized Amber” Distress Marker. I dry-ran a layout and, when I had an idea of how they would go together, I edged the leaves with "Vintage Photo" Distress Ink, and applying, Ranger’s Collage Glue stick to portions of the backs of the leaves, I placed them in a “bouquet” on a piece of white card (trimmed to fit my usual large card), and edged the white with “Vintage Photo”. I mounted this card topper on dark brown card, stamped the word “Autumn” on a pale orange scrap of card and taped both the card topper and the word onto my usual Ivory card:
