On Thursday, April 28, just after lunch, my dear husband drove me down to Columbus, Ohio so I could attend Create 2017. I wasn't able to get into the event hotel --- we were about 9 miles down the road, so we explore a little so we would know our way around and then settled in at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Early Friday morning, registration! Oh my goodness, who is up and groomed and dressed in time to drive 9 miles to register at 7:45AM. But I made it and this is what we got: a Create tote with all the info we needed about the event and free copy of Scrapboos and Cards inspiration magazine. Also in the bag were (not shown) a Kind energy bar, an auction paddle (which I never used) and a lanyard which identified which "group" we were in. I was in Group A and my name badge and class schedule can be seen in the left photo, along with the raffle tickets I earned by shopping at the event shop on both days (didn't win anything tho) and our hotel card folder.
Here is what I bought (WAY above my self-imposed budget but I couldn't help myself!)!
On Friday, after registering and getting my lunch tickets for both days, I hit the shop. In fifteen minutes, I scored these goodies and maxed out my budget: Idea-ology "Ruler Pieces"; Stampers Anonymous "Mini-Motivation" stamp set; Altenew "Adore You" and "Beautiful Day" stamp sets; Hero Arts "You Are Loved" stamp set, "Handmade Kindness" and "A Bit of Kindness" fancy dies and "Peacock Feather" stencil; Be Creative 3mm wide tape; and Dylusions paint pens!
