AACK! One of the challenge rules is it has to be "NEW"! and I just posted a clearly eligible piece yesterday forth Graphic 45 Challenge of the month. Can't use that one, and can't see the point of making an equivalent (Where would I display it, let alone when would I use a second travel journal?) DRAT! What to do.
I am (was) a world traveler; have been since the mid-70's. In my Graphic 45 entry, I show some eleven of the "world" cities I have visited (and four of the major US ones as well) What doesn't show is the 15 OTHER countries/cities I have been to that weren't a part of the Graphc 45 paper set! All the "leftovers" from the accomplished side of my travel "Bucket List"!
Hmm, that means I could use paper crafting leftovers too, right? The scraps from that album cover could become my Word Traveler entry if I just tweaked the idea a little... I could use one of the some cities on the Graphic 45 entry and one that didn't show up there and reference my preference for "home" (even though where my heart is is no longer home).
So here is a card using the scraps left from cutting up some Graphic 45 papers, a sticker and a stamp from the same set and a sentiment using my "Snap-Stamp" alphabet:
- Papers: Scraps from Graphic 45 "Cityscapes" 8 x 8 stack; Graphic 45 sicker from the Cityscapes" Collection"; The Paper Studio Value Pack "ivory"
- Inks: Archival "Jet Black"
- Stamps: Hampton Arts "Cityscapes 1" (iCO353); Karen Foster's "Snap-Stamps" (mini-formal alphabet, 003377)
- Adhesives: Vival las Vegas "Miracle Tape"
