I had just received in the mail my issue of Craft Stamper, December 2015 (issue 187) and in it was
Anna Karin Evaldsson’s glossy paper Masterclass (pages 70 - 75). How convenient! I just had to put the first part of it into practice so I used my brayer, distress inks and a spritz of water on glossy car to create this background:
Also a coincidence was the fact that Tuesday was election day around this neck of the woods and there were several constitutional amendments on the ballot that I felt the need to weigh in on (one I voted for lost, one won!). When you vote in a local percent, you get a little sticker, declaring that “I Voted!” Well, I saved my sticker, mounted it on grey-blue cardstock to make an embellishment/sentiment for my card; I mounted this oval with foam squares to add some depth:
- Stamps: Denami Design, circa 2002
- Inks: Distress Inks” Tumbled Class”, “Mermaid Lagoon”, “Blueprint Sketch”, Archival “Vermillion”, “Aquamarine”
- Papers, glossy white card, scrap grey-blue, and Memory Box “Russian Sage” refolded card base
