I decided to use a set of "Marking" stamps for my sides on a card featuring a bird in flight.
I started by in blending Distress Oxide inks on Neena Solar white heavy card. I then stamped the bird and sentiment in Archival Jet Black and the doodles in Archival "Watering Can". I used a water brush to soften the color inside the bird image and then coated the image liberally with wink of Stella (which doesn't really show up in the photo) before trimming, matting and attaching to the card base:
