Now I usually make tags for such challenges but I didn't feel like making a "typical" tag. Instead, while searching through my stash for some chipboard pieces, I found what must be a "kit" for a banner of Christmas die-cuts and lots of butcher twine, no designer name or instructions included. (I have NO idea where this "kit" came from!).
Part this "kit" were five white, five blue and five kraft snowflake shapes (other shapes included trees and Christmas lights as well as a single star). I decided to experiment and I chose to make gold heat embossed snowflakes on the white die-cuts. I used the three most successful... my snowflake stamps were not perfect matches to the die-cut shapes because this entire procedure was "try this, try that" until it worked!
I added a gold ribbon, gold metallic triplets, and a small talk sticker mounted on gold metallic card to finish my three Christmas tags:
- Stamps: Stampers Anonymous "Swirly Snowflakes" (CMS319)
- Inks: versamark
- Embossing Powders: Ink on 3 "Gold Rush"
- Papers: scrap of metallic gold card; white die cut snowflakes
- Embellishments: Offray Ribbon "Dancer - Antique Gold" (144237); Idea-ology "Metallic Driplets" (TH94016) and "Small Talk - Occasions" (TH93245)
- Adhesives: GinaK "Connect" glue
