Class 16 was led by Kathy Racoosin, who showed a technique which took advantage of the bleed-through typical of Copic (and other brand) alcohol markers. Since I have very few Copic markers and do not have the comic blending solution, I improvised:
- I used Altenew Alcohol Markers and Ranger's Alcohol Blending Solution.
- I struggled finding a stamp image that would lend it self to this technique so I fudged a bit and used an image of leaves and non-traditional leaf colors...
- Instead of 80 lb paper, I used a sheet of copy paper
My first card:
- Stamped; Simon Says Stamp “Be Kid” (sss202099)
- Inks: Altenew Alcohol Markers “Forest Glade” (G715), “Evergreen” (G 554), “Desert Night” (B227) and “Volcano Lake” (B714); Ranger Alcohol Blending Solution; GinaK Amalgam “Jet Black”
- Papers: Neena Solar White; copy paper; Die Cut With A View “Card Stack - Blues”
- Embelilshments: Idea-ology “Small Chat” (TH93193)
- Adhesives: ScorTape 1/8”
