As before, here's my note to reader: Since this is a paid class, I'm not going to do a step-by-step of how I did these cards. If you are curious, sign up for the class at Online Card Classes. Very good value for money, IMO!
Day one of this class was taught by two different individuals: Kristina Werner had a video on masking while Heather Hoffman did a tutorial on reverse masking.
My first card is base on Kristina's video:
- Dies: Sizzix “Shadow Script #2” (662685)
- Inks: Distress Oxide “Wilted Violet”, “Dusty Concord” and “Milled Lavender”
- Papers: Neena Solar White; The Paper Studio A2 “kraft” (697227); scrap of glimmer purple paper and magenta card stock
- Embellishments: Studio Katia miscellaneous sequins (SK2890)
- Adhesives: ScorTape 1/8”; GInaL “Connect” glue
- Media: Brutus Monroe “Masking Paper” (BRU4616)
Card two used a version of Heather's approach but with the mask I made in Kristina's session.
I reused the positive portion of the mask from to make a third card, which I can personalize at a later date:
- Stamps: Simon Says Stamp Leaves and Berries” (sss102039: Stampers Anonymous “Tiny Text” (CMS394)
- Inks: Distress Oxide “Peeled Paint”; Distress Marker “Forest Moss”
- Papers: Neena Solar White; The Paper Studio A2 “kraft” (697227); scrap of olive card stocks
- Adhesive: jeje “foam tape; ScorTape 1/8”; GinaK “Connect” glue
- Media: Brutus Monroe “Masking Paper” (BRU4616)
