The mini-challenge for the More Than Words design team this month is to use the word "Love" in a card, tag or ATC. Since I am making cards this year instead of ATCs, I was looking for something in a background stamp that was appropriate for their challenge. When I came across (previously unused) Stamping' Up! "Word by Word", it was perfect. I differentially inked the stamp using Archival "Jet Black" on the majority of the words and Distress "Candied Apple" on the word "Love". As usual, I had the same issues I always have with wood-mounted background stamps: incomplete images, so I filled them in with a "Black Soot" Distress Marker. I then searched my ephemera and "'cover" stashes and found these four die-cut red hearts (freebies from a recent the Funky Junky Boutique order) which I thought went perfectly with the card: Products used in the making of this card were:
