I wanted to play around with different media for this ATC and tried using a self-adhesive canvas but… my die simply would not cut through it and I REALLY wanted to use this new die so…
I went back to my old standby ATC blanks (manufacturer unknown) and picked out two — one a textured old gold metallic and the other a matte bright orange. I used one of Tim Holtz’ mixed media thinlits dies on the orange card (after running it through my Xyron 500 sticker maker — I have found that having that adhesive on first makes assembly SOOOO much easier and less messy!). I stuck the die-cut card on the metallic card and set about creating embellishments.
First, I die-cut two copies of the word “Enjoy” — one in shimmering white and the other in matte black. I layered them, slightly offset so it looked like a drop-shadow, and adhered that to the ATC base.
Then I selected five small shite paper flowers with wooden bead centers and adhered them to the card.
