Now I don't own stamp sets by all of the participating companies but I do own several, many of which I haven't used i my card-making. I have posted recent makes to several of the collaborators which were used in other challenges in this month of September (Altenew, Honey Bee, Tim Holtz and W Plus 9). However, I decided yesterday to search out sets by other collaborators and use them to make cards. This post documents five clean-ad-simple makes.
1. Studio Katia, posted at Challenge for the Studio Katia Stamptember Exclusive Stamp Set
I only had a small mini sentiment from studio Katia so I decided to make a thank you notecard with it:
- Stamps: Studio Ktia "Mini-ThankYou" (STK5016)
- Inks: Versamark; an un-named maroon from a Hero Arts My Monthly Hero box
- Embossing Powders: UpTown "detail gold"
- Papers: JoAnn CraftEssentials Textured Solid Cards "cream" (27666); maroon oval
- Adhesives: Duck Easy Stick Double Stick Adhesive
2. Waffle Flower, posted at Challenge for the Waffle Flower Stamptember Exclusive Stamp Set
I have several Waffle Flower sets, including two of the "stitched" images which I bought because I am also a cross-stitcher and I thought these might make good cards to accompany cross-stitched gifts (among other things):
Products used in the making of this card were:
- Stamps: Waffle Flower "Stitched Morning Gory" (271118) and Stitched Cactus (271096)
- Inks: Distress Inks "forest Moss", "Bundled Sage" "Worn Lipstick", Fired Brick" and "wild Honey"
- Papers: JoAnn CraftEssentials Textured Solid Cards "cream" (27666)
3. Gina K, posted at Challenge for the GinaK Stamptember Exclusive Stamp Set
This was a wreath builder set with lots of tiny pieces (one of which popped off my MISTI ad disappeared somewhere in my craft space! AAACK!).
Stamps: Gina K "Wreath Builder Bundle"
Inks: Distress Inks "Forest Moss", "Spice Marmalade", "Crushed Olive", "Ripe Persimmon", "Carved Pumpkin" and "Dried Marigold"
Papers: JoAnn CraftEssentials Textured Solid Cards "cream" (27666)
4. Concord & 9th, posted at the Challenge for the Concord & 9th Stamptember Exclusive Stamp Set
This set was one of their turnaround stamps (of which I have a few)...
Products used in the making of this card were:
- Stamps: Concord & 9th "Lovely Blossoms Turnaround" (10430); Neat & Tangled "Art Deco"
- Inks: Distress Ink "Bundled Sage", "Peeled Paint", "Cracked Olive" and "Forest Moss"; Versamark
- Embossing Powders: Stampendous "detail white" (47788)
- Papers: JoAnn CraftEssentials Textured Solid Cards "cream" (27666); maroon oval
- Adhesives: Duck Easy Stick Double Stick Adhesive
5. Neat & Tangled, posted at Challenge for the Neat & Tangled Stamptember Exclusive Stamp Set
I played with multiple heat embossing with this Art Deco set:
- Stamps: Neat & Tangled "Art Deco"
- Inks: Versamark
- Embossing Powders: Lindys Gang "Bavarian Blue"; UpTown "detail gold" and JoAnn Craftessentials "black"
- Papers: JoAnn CraftEssentials Textured Solid Cards "cream" (27666)
I'm pretty sure I have stamps from other collaborators as well (there were 18 in all) so I may be searching my stamps for more for the rest of this month...
