Time to try out the "Layered Jack-O-Lantern"! I pulled a selection of orange cardstock scraps and auditioned them for the pumpkin. I settled on five different colors (including a sparkly gold for the main shape) and this is the end result:
I made a background using the lightest shade of orange in the pumpkin, a word die-cut using the "Halloween Words: BlocK" die set, and mounted it on the darker orange card:
