I sure do have winter blues right now --- lots of snow and freezing rain, record cold and record chill factors, and grey all the time. So the challenge from the Frilly & Funky design team on January 30, 2019 fit right in!
I started off with an embossed stamped image which I colored with Lindy's Magicals (I basically watercolored with the powder, some spritzed water and a fine brush):

Next, I masked the blooms and blended a background using Distress Oxide Inks:

I splattered some white gesso over the masked images and then mounted the trimmed image on a white notecard. Finally I die-cut the word winter in white and applied it to the card front:
