I just got a new stamp set in the mail yesterday so, since it fit with the theme, I decided to play with it. I picked several of the "splats" from the set and inked them with multiple Distress Oxide Inks. Using my MISTI, I stamped, reined, stamped, reined, and so on until I got a series of multicolored "splats" on my piece of Ranger watercolor paper:
I layered the panel on orange card-stock and then on a kraft card. After this assembly, I used my MISTI again and stamped a circle collage pattern, in Distress Ink, so that the circle overlapped the layers. I added a sentiment in Distress Ink and some Prima flowers to get:
- Stamps: Altenew “A Splash of Color” and Studio 490 “Circle Collage” (WVBG034)
- Inks: Distress Oxides “Antique Linen”, “Fossilized Amber”, “Wild Honey”, and “Spiced Marmalade”; Distress Inks “Old Paper” and “Vintage Photo”
- Papers: Ranger watercolor paper; Paper Reflections “Create Your Own” cards “kraft”; scrap of orange cardstock
