Well, as much as I would LIKE to be traveling abroad (which is what most of my travel-related stamps and papers portray), that is not in the cards for this year. In fact, a road trip to Louisville, Kentucky is the only travel in the foreseeable future. So...
I found sheet of double-sided paper in the Authentique "Abroad Collection" that is US-oriented, cut it to size;layered it with a dark blue card form the same collection and made my card base:
I pulled out ephemera and stamps from my stash and came up with a collage of sorts to illustrate my destination. First, I used the thinlits die "United States" to get small representations of my home state and the destination state. I placed them on the card face and connected them with a dashed line...
