My inspiration was a set of Altenew Crisp Dye Inks called "Shades of Purple" that were sitting on my craft table. I am not normally fond of purple but it seemed like an omen so I went with it, even though I never actually used those inks in my card!
I started with a dark purple card base and layers of three different shades of Bazzill purple card. On the op layer, I stamped an image using Versamark and heat-embossed with a purple embossing powder. I then stamped a sentiment over the embossed image, again using Versamark and heat-embossing it with white embossing powder:

- Stamps: Oenny Black "adornments" (40-574) and INkadinkado "Happy Holidays: (91400-O)
- Inks: Versamark
- Embossing Powders: WOW! "Metalline Violet Regular" (WG04R) and Top Boss "white regular"
- Papers: Die Cut With A View Textured Card Stack "Classics"; scraps of three Bazzill purples
- Adhesives: RedLine 1/8" Embossing Tape
