Well, I'm not much of a gardener and I don't have children so that leaves me with very little summer inspiration. So I thought I'd borrow some from my husband, the Master Gardener and daylily addict:
The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, August 10, 2015, is based on teh following: "So many things have grown in the Summer. Inspiration can be found in backyard gardens and jars of freshly canned veggies or maybe children who have grown like weeds. Or an idea that’s just taken root. There’s a lot of room for growth. (Pun intended) So let’s see how a homegrown summer is inspiring you!" Well, I'm not much of a gardener and I don't have children so that leaves me with very little summer inspiration. So I thought I'd borrow some from my husband, the Master Gardener and daylily addict: I made a card to commemorate a wonderful summer for daylilies this year... The background is made using Ken Oliver's Color Bursts ("Orange", "Lemon Yellow" and "Pthalo Green". The daylilies are a stamp from Stamping Sensations "All-in-One series (INR-032-7), colored with Local King RUbber Stamp Company's washable markers and fussy cut.The sentiment is from Seaside Stamping Inc, (E911, circa 2005).
