The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Team indicates that we can use "things that hop, e.g. rabbits... some funky hip hop music..." in the challenge for April 10, 2017: Hip Hop. All well and good but I have few stamps with rabbits (I found one in my search and it wasn't hopping) and know very little in the way about Hip Hop music, let alone what a selected song might be. After all, I am a child of the 60's and 70s when Hip Hop was NOT on the scene! So I decided to play a little with the theme...
I started by stamping an image twice (once in it's entirety and once masked off to use just a part of it) from Penny Black in Archival "Jet Black" on white card. I then colored it using a blending pen, added a dashed line to indicate that the hedgehog was actually in the middle of a "hop" (not at all sure that hedgehogs hop but then this is my interpretation...) and Distress Markers:

I matted in pink and mounted the piece on a white notecard:
It looked a little unbalanced in the bottom right so I drew in and colored another flower and stamped a "punny" sentiment:

The colors in the palette in that challenge were used in this card in the flowers: "Crushed Olive" for the green, "Broken China" for the blue, "Fossilized Amber" for the yellow, and "Worn LIpstick" for the pink, the blue was used to set a horizon and mimic motion, and the pink was also included in the paws and cheeks of the hedgehog and the color of the card used for matting the image.
