Challenge: Frame It

The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, September 14, 2020, was to "Frame It"!

I started by creating a layered frame with a painted (Distress Paint, "Bundled Sage" directly on the chipboard)   square chipboard piece and a pieced together diamond frame made from die-cut glitter paper, and mounted it on a panel which I had blended with Distress Oxide (also Bundled Sage) and tased with sprays of water:

I framed an Idea-ology "Photoshop" portrait with an Idea-ology "Foundry Frame", and added that to the card base. I adhered the card base to a kraft A2 card.

I "stitched" around the panel with a gel pen, and added an Idea-ology "Small Talk" stitcher and an Idea-ology "Field Notes" butterfly to complete my card:

I chose the sentiment because the photo reminded me of one of my Mother when she married my Father...

Since this is entirely what I call a "composition" piece and no stamps were used, I also entered this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, September 16, 2020, "No Stamps Allowed".
