I started with my egg. I sued some tacky tape I had bought on a whim and die cut a solid egg from it. I took a scrap of gold card and die cut a decoration for the egg from that. I adhered the gold to the sticky egg and sprinkled three different shades of WOW! glitter on the exposed sticky areas. After cleaning up all of teh glitter (really, most - there is still some of the glitter on my work surface and my jeans), this is what I had:
