That is basically the challenge posed by the Design Team over at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge on October 5, 2015. And since autumn is, indeed my favorite season, I decided to resurrect a number of my wood-mounted stamps and my autumnal Distress Ink colors and see what I could come up with! The result was this card:
I stamped random leaves in Vinrtage Photo" on an ivory card blank and blended "Old Paper" on the card through the paper from which I cut the leaf banner.
I stamped the sentiment on ivory card, trimmed it and layered it on forest green.
The sentiment was attached with redline tape while I used foam squares to mount the pieces of teh banner slightly to the left and down from the blended "Old Paper" shadows...
The products used i making this card were:
- Stamps: Stamps Happen, Inc "Fall Leaves" (90294); Sugarloaf Products Whispers" line, circa 2003; and Hero Arts "Autumn" (C3039)
- Inks: Archival "Jet Black", Distress "Old Paper" and Vintage Photo"; Distress Markers "Walnut Stain", "Scattered Straw", "Mustard Seed", "Dried Marigold", "Spiced Marmalade" , Ripe Persimmon", Brushed Corduroy", "Abandoned Coral", "Forest Moss" and "Blueprint Sketch
