Altenew has a new photograph and color palette for the April 2017 challenge:
After testing various inks and markers, I determined that the three colors shown in the palette would best be matched with Distress Inks "Scattered Straw", "Mermaid Lagoon" and "Chipped Sapphire". I used all three to create a blended background on Distress Mixed Media Heavystock:
which I then trimmed to fit a prefolded note card in antique white. I stamped a sentiment in "Chipped Sapphire":
I stamped three Altenew "Spring Daisies" using Archival Ink for the outlines and Scattered Straw for the layer. I added "Tea Dye" ink to the centers of the daisies, die cut them and layered them on the card front:
