I am sadly coming to the conclusion that my craft space will NEVER be the neat, clean (uncluttered) and spacious place that I see posted online by others. But I am getting closer to knowing what I have and where it is and that is a good thing.
In June, there was a road trip that took up the first two weeks of the month, and a freezer and refrigerator needed to be cleaned and re-organized (because the latter was dying and a new fridge/freezer was arriving the week we returned from the road trip), so it took me a while to get back in organizing mode.…
My first project was on June 2, 2018, when I input all of the Lindy's, Smooch, and Tattered Angels spray inks in "Numbers", an Apple software program that is similar to Word's Excel spreadsheet. These pages are stored on my iPad and, theoretically, I can now consult these rather than sort through cases of unlabeled inks. For the Lindy's inks, I also copied their web page listings of colors and include them in the cases where the specific inks were stored (the latter in alphabetical order rather than color, which May or MAY NOT be the final solution. Visible labels may well be the next step...). There is also a folder for Distress but it isn't complete,.. I had previously input all my Tim Holtz products in a mobile app which, after numerous iOS upgrades, seems to have lost all the data so I need to go back and work on Distress, Dylusions, and other Ranger products as well as other brands (Hero Arts, ColorBox, Brilliance, GinaK, etc.
I can stay, however, that I am getting better at putting things away after use and, even (GASP!) upon arrival in the craft space fro various UPS, USPS and FedEx deliveries! AT least that means I'm not backsliding - YET!
