I decided to stick with a color combination I have been using a lot of late (“Abandoned Coral”, “Twisted Citron” and “Fossilized Amber”) and my smaller tag format, which meant I would have to forego a lot of the embellishments that are typical of “Tim Tags”. Still, I found a way to incorporate both techniques in my smaller tag…
My first step was to create a tag background using the step-by-step tutorial in the August 2014 tag, omitting the texture paste through a layering stencil (a - because there wasn’t “room” on my smaller tag and b - because my mini-stencils are on order…) and this is what I came up with:
- Stamps: Indigo Blu “Miss Austen” (IND0102) and “Stampers Anonymous “Botanical Sketch” (CMS216)
- Inks: Archival “Jet Black”; Distress Spray Stains “Fossilized Amber”, “Twisted Citron”, “Abandoned Coral” and “Antiqued Bronze”; Distress Ink “Abandoned Coral”< “Fossilized Amber” and “Twisted Citron”; Distress Paints ”Old Paper”, "Vintage Photo”, “Tarnished Brass”, “Antiqued Bronze” and “Hickory Smoke”; Distress Markers ”Forest Moss” and “Picket Fence”
- Dies: thinlits “Tiny Tattered Flowers” (666227)
- Embellishments: Venetian Lace; Imaginisce Aladdin’s Charms (“Exotic East”); Idea-ology Industrious Stickers “Frames and Trims” (TH93136) and “Crinkle Ribbon” (TH93020)
- Adhesives: Ranger Multi Medium Matte and Glossy Accents
