First, I made a background using my brayer and two different “ombre” ink pads: Kaleidacolor Raised Rainbow (Blue Breeze” )and a Distress Ink Custom (“Barn Door-Abandoned Coral-Sppiced Marmalade”). I then used a layering stencil (“Rays’) and, with water and a wet wipe rubbed through the stencil, removed pigment from the sky, bleaching out the colors. This created my sunset sky:
