Well, I settled on skeletons, which seems to me my theme this Halloween season, and since I had a background piece left over from my challenge card for another challenge last week ("Wilted Violet" and "Hickory Smoke" Distress Inks "smooshed" with water on the matte side of glossy card stock) , I decoded to do some "recycling" of scrap card stock and paper and also to reuse the stamp I used in that very same challenge, but with a twist: this time, the graveyard is front and center!
Now for the fussy cutting! I cut out the moon and layered it on the background. I fussy cut each skeleton and place them in the graveyard (the one on the left relaxing on his tombstone, the one in the middle lounging against the tree trunk, and the one on the right eising from his grave behind a his grave marker - the tombstone which I cut from the image stamped on white card stock and also darkend with the dry erase marker) .
The sentiment now has "Buffalo Girls" running through my brain --- I was actually humming it as I sorted through my Snap Stamps Mini Formal alphabet set (00377) to create the words!
This could be an invitation to a Halloween party (if I should ever actually give a Halloween party - NAH!)...
Maybe no the spookiest, but it is as spooky as I get!
