The first of my ink drawers that I opened contained several bottles of Radiant Rain Shimmering Mist — I selected “Copper” because my base tag was white and I thought it would show up better than the pearls. The next drawer contained several bottles of Adirondack Color Wash — I don’t even remember buying them! But… I chose “Cranberry” and “Butterscotch”. (I hadn't even made it to my drawers of Distress Sprays, Dylusions Sprays, Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays, Smooch sprays, or Glimmer Mists! After all, I am a "Collector" of inks! But I figured three colors was enough...)
I sprayed my age with all three, “Cranberry” first, then “Butterscotch” and finally “Copper”:
Now it was time for the stamp(s). Way back in the “ark Ages, when I first started stamping I was really into Chinese images. I have a six-drawer Iris cart filled with Chinese stamps! And I haven’t used them in ages. So it was time to find one or more that would work with the color scheme on my tag. I ended up with two borders from a stamp set by Kodomo, Inc (Set #3988-015); and a Kam Lung Dragon by Bunch of Fun (#88004) - as near as I can make out, "kam" means "made of gold" and "lung" means dragon... and since this dragon has five toes on each foot, it is likely the symbol of the Emperor. . I think the "Butterscoth" and "Copper" are therefore a perfect match for this stamp, since yellow is reserved for Emperors! I used Archival Jet Black ink to stamp these images:
