I went to my craft space to get the card I had made for a swap with a group on Facebook and, while trying to decide between the two I had made for that challenge, saw this tag poking it’s head out of my scrap file:
It was one of two I had swiped through the remains of some Distress Inks for an earlier Simon Says Stamp challenge where I had colored a fussy-cut butterfly with “Mermaid Lagoon”, “Blueprint Sketch” and “Twisted Citron”. I took the other tag (it had more color) and, using a stencil (THS 031, “Blossom”), a blending tool, and Distress Inks ("Chipped Sapphire” and “Forest Moss”), created a background on a tag:
Products used in making this tag were:
- Stamps: CMS 215 "Flower Cargen", Hero Arts "Bouquet of Good Wishers (C2702)
- Stencils: THS 031 "Blossom"
- Inks: Distress "Twisted Citron", "Blueprint Sketch", MermaidLagoon", and "Cracked Pistachio"; Archival Jet Black"; Inktense Pencils "Ink Bliack (2200), "Sun Yellow" (0200), "Tangerine" (103), "Apple Green" (114), "Leaf Green" (1600), "Sea Blue" (1200) and "Deep Indigo" (1100)
- Papers: #8 manila tag, scrap white card stock
- Embelishments: seam binding
