I had a piece of scrap yardstick where I was practicing background which looked perfect for depicting light (IMO, anyway).
I stenciled a “circle” of light rays using the layering stencil “Rays” (THS 003) in “Fossilized Amber” and then a chandelier in Archival Jet Black. I trimmed the scrap to fit my card and after layered is on scrap black and tan card and then a refolded ivory card base, I added rhinestones in yellow and clear to add some sparkle to the chandelier and it’s candles:
- Papers: scrap background and black, ColorMates "Dark Totally Tan" CTNK85U, prefolded ivory card
- Inks: Distress Spray Stain “Twisted Citron”; Memories Mist “Mango Lemonande” and “Orange Juice”; Distress Ink "Fossilized Amber"; Archival "Jet Black"
- Stamps: Stampinback Sheet 094B
- Embellishments: Hero Arts Gemstones (Yellow, CH128), HeidiSwapp "Bling" (H564005)
