This time, I went all "industrial" with my hipster bird dressed in steel grey and purple to match his background.
I started by creating my "ostrich", stamping in Archival "Jet black" on Neena "white" heavy card, die cutting with the coordinating die and coloring with Distress Markers, a blending pen and a Pigma Micron fine tip black pen:
After searching through my Idea-ology stash, my brad stash and my bead stash, I was ready to assemble. The ostrich was attached with foam dots as were two sets of stacked gears (held together with brads) and a length of silver bead chain was strung around the gears and under the bird. The word "Epic was stamped on the striped paper and the assembly was then attached to the card base using foam dots:
