While I think I tend to be more often than not a c;ran-and-simple card maker, I felt the need to look up a definition and, basically, it is a lot of "white" space (which doesn't really have to be white), only one or two colors, and easy enough to make that, once you have got down what you want, you can make multiples of the card quite easily.
Something I have been wanting to try for a while now is an embossed resist and watercolor wash. I embossed three floral images (using a mask for the center one) on white card, using Versamark and white embossing powder. I then deleted Distress Inks in ""Spun Sugar" and "Abandoned Coral" colors and brushed it over the card using a wide water brush. This brought out the images. Finally, I added a sentiment in Archival Black:
- Stamps: Stampers Anonymous "Flower Garden" (CMS215) and "Mini Bouquet" (CMS 269); Hero Arts "Script Thinging of You" (C4391)
- Inks: Distress Inks "Spun Sugar" and Abandoned Coral"; Archival "Jet Black"; Versamark
- Papers: The Paper Studio Note Cards "white"
