I started by creating a layered frame with a painted (Distress Paint, "Bundled Sage" directly on the chipboard) square chipboard piece and a pieced together diamond frame made from die-cut glitter paper, and mounted it on a panel which I had blended with Distress Oxide (also Bundled Sage) and tased with sprays of water:
I "stitched" around the panel with a gel pen, and added an Idea-ology "Small Talk" stitcher and an Idea-ology "Field Notes" butterfly to complete my card:
Products used in the making of this card were:
- Dies: Spellbinders “Hello and Thank You” (DOM-SEP20)
- Inks: Distress Paint: "Bundled Sage"; Distress Oxide: “Bundled Sage”; OHTO FudeBall 1.5 “black”
- Papers: Neena Solar White 110 lb; Memory Box A2 card “kraft”; JoAnn’s chipboard pack (45327); Simon Says Stamp “Glitter - Emerald” (sss302)
- Embellishments: Idea-ology “Ephemera Pack - Field Notes” (TH94049), “Foundry Frames” (TH93198), “Photobooth” (TH93207) and “Small Talk” (TH93193)
- Adhesives: ScorTape 1/8”; GinaK “Connect” glue
Since this is entirely what I call a "composition" piece and no stamps were used, I also entered this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, September 16, 2020, "No Stamps Allowed".
